Their original space comprised of a small ensuite bathroom and walk through wardrobe that our designer, Sam, suggested be knocked through. The removal of the wall and the wardrobes created a much larger space to work with and fulfilled the brief.  

To achieve a modern yet timeless feel, a classic black, white and grey palette was chosen. The marble effect Vitra B&W White Star wall and floor tiles work perfectly with the white pottery, and the black accessories really stand out against the white/grey background giving the desired ultra modern feel. Britton Hoxton brassware for the basin and bath taps proved an excellent choice and complimented the White Space Senna freestanding bath and Laufen Pro Oval sit-on basin bowls perfectly. The bowls rest on top of a Court Homemakers bespoke handless double vanity unit, which delivers the contemporary vibe the Devitts’ wanted and offers useful storage options and display shelving too. The dual lighted mirrors – one above each sink, complete this his/hers area perfectly.    

The large format walk in shower with MX Stone resin tray and full-length 1400mm Sommer wetroom panel means access to the shower is from the bottom, where a strategically placed black heated towel rail offers a nice warm towel on exit. Perfect!
