Traditional Meets Modern Bathroom

When Mrs Eastwood came into our showroom, she informed us that she had a good sized bathroom, but she felt the layout didn't do the size justice. She said she wanted a design that would blow her away and give the room the wow factor, with a traditional meets modern feel to be in keeping with the rest of the house.

When Mrs E came into our showroom, she informed us that she had a good sized bathroom, but she felt the layout didn’t do the size justice. She said she wanted a design that would blow her away and give the room the wow factor, with a traditional meets modern feel to be in keeping with the rest of the house.

With the use of tiled recesses and lights strategically placed, we thought we would be able to achieve this. Now that the project is complete, both the customer and our team are thrilled with how the project has turned out.

We opted for a large walk-in shower to give the room a really minimalistic look, using only two panels of glass. To further the minimalistic look, we also opted for a fully concealed digital shower system (Aqualisa Quartz), comprising of an overhead shower and separate riser rail. With the use of one wide tiled recess in the shower, illuminated with spotlights, it really completed this particular part of the bathroom.

Just next to the shower, we incorporated again more tiled illuminated recesses above a concealed cistern WC. The use of the traditional meets modern curved Burlington freestanding basin unit was a very much welcomed bit of class in the room.

We also decided to choose a large double ended bath with tiled bath panels to make it fit into the room and blend seamlessly with the rest of the tiled walls. Finally, the flooring we opted for was Karndean grey limed oak parquet style, which fits perfectly with the traditional meets modern style Mrs E was looking for.

The Court Homemakers team are all very pleased with the outcome. Take a look at the photos and let us know what you think.
