Small, but perfectly formed – Creating a functional and stylish bathroom

Tired of their dated bathroom and keen for some fresh ideas to make the space work better for their family, Mr & Mrs Hall contacted Court Homemakers.

Sam took care of the whole project from design to brilliant finish and used the opportunity to maximise the use of the space available, making the room look larger than it actually was.

A low profile walk-in shower was fitted with an Aqualisa Quartz Blue Smart Digital Shower and an MX tray with a Sommer 1200 wet room panel for optimum water coverage. At the shower end, a couple of tiled recesses were added for toiletry storage and wow factor. This also freed up the other end, the shower entry point, for a Bisque Chime towel radiator to be placed on the wall, giving Mr and Mrs Hall and their family warm towels easily to hand after showering.

The bathroom Sanitaryware was re-orientated to the opposite wall, allowing for a Laufen Val wall hung vanity unit, and a Geberit concealed cistern for the Laufen Pro Back to Wall Pan. Sam also suggested installing a Large LED wall mirror to open the room up and give the illusion of space and introduced the HIB Globe 120 to this project.

This stylish bathroom is completed with Kingston Graphite Matt wall tiles and Cumbrian Stone Karndean flooring. The underfloor heating and ceiling spotlights complete this highly spec’d room.

And the result? The Hall family are thrilled with their fully modernised, designer bathroom and are enjoying the benefits of its new layout.
