McCauley Kitchen in Marton, brief?
Challenged to liven up a small kitchen and a dark dining room of a 1950’s semi-detached home in Marton, Court Homemakers were to give Mr & Mrs McCauley a place to entertain, relax and enjoy family mealtime. This shed new light on the space, with stunning results.
Can you describe the use of colour and lighting?
A combination of spot lights and strips as downlights gave focus to the tops of units. “Our palette was quite plain” explains Mrs McCauley, “because we wanted to fit hue lighting where the colours change to reflect mood and create ambience”.
What is your favourite part of the finished design?
“I love the sleek elegant, contemporary cupboard doors; they were just what we were looking for”, says Mrs McCauley from Marton.
Would you choose Court Homemakers again?
“Nothing was a hassle and we definitely got the end result we wanted. I’m so pleased we chose them and I would also recommend using Court Homemakers to anyone else” – Mrs McCauley.
Were the McCauley’s happy with the result?
“I wouldn’t change a thing!” Mrs McCauley says, “The whole area is lighter and everyone in the family is enjoying the space, both inside and out. We sit around the island chatting while my husband cooks and we are definitely socialising much more. The whole thing just works for us”.
