In this kitchen, it’s one of the design features that tie the whole room together; that and the brass handleless rail system, which sits discretely behind the units and accentuates them.
Court Homemakers were commissioned to design and fit this new kitchen. The brief was to deliver a kitchen with clean lines that would bring together the large open space of this expansive new build home. What Court Homemakers delivered was above and beyond the client’s expectations tying, not only the inside space together, but also linking it to the outside space.
The client was keen to include an island as a central feature and they also asked for as much storage as possible to be incorporated in the room. As a result, they opted for wall and tall mounted units in Porter matt white with a simple slab door design that created the perfect backdrop. When this was coupled with the brass handleless rail system, the kitchen’s clean and striking look really started to take shape.
Calacatta Gold Quartz worktops were chosen for the centre island, which feature a timeless pattern and simple tones, so perfectly complements this room’s understated elegance. The diagonal cut back feature breakfast bar legs give the island maximum visual impact with lots of space to line the stunning bar stools.
NEFF N 70 appliances, notable for combining intelligent innovation and sublime style, suit this kitchen down to a tee. Pops of brass feature throughout this kitchen and include the tap in patinated brass from Quooker as well as those feature lights.
The client had a rough idea of colours at the outset but left Michael to use his design skills to give them something that would blow them away!
“The colour palette is simple, but the result is WOW!” said the client. “We were blown away with the subtle brass accents and the amazing worktop design on the island – it’s truly unique and the room is a joy to spend time in.”
And we loved it so much we took lots of pictures so we could share them with you.
