Having worked with Court Homemakers previously, this client knew exactly who to call to ensure this project had the wow factor.
Living in an 18th century residence, the client wanted to maintain the traditional feel of their home, but introduce a more contemporary styling, subtle sophistication and clean lines to their bedroom, dressing room and en-suite.
The focus of the room is the large vanity area, a bespoke piece, made with Court Homemakers cabinets. The large mirror accentuates the size of the room and sits above the double his and hers sinks, which give them their own individual washroom space.
Burlington was used for the cabinetry as it offered traditional styling and good quality. Sanitaryware is the latest Riviera range, which perfectly complements the Kensington brassware and shower range.
The shower and toilet are kept separate from the main area with Kudos Pinnacle 8 Hinged Doors. These give the space a “Spa” feel, especially in the shower, which also houses a wide bench seating area topped with Strata Calacatta Quartz.
Vitra Rainforest White Matt Wall & Floor Tiles with feature Matt Cut Decor tiling in the shower and the Strata Calacatta Gold worktops just enhance the upmarket feel.
In the bedroom, it’s the Hampton Door range in Satin Coastland with the Quarto Mirror design and Chrome Shell Cup Handles. The panelled doors work well to offer a traditional framed door styling, with the modern twist coming from the Quattro mirror panelling effect on the inside.
There’s also a curved island (yes, in the bedroom rather than its usual kitchen setting!) which adds an extra element to the dressing area and has a drop-down seat to offer somewhere to sit while getting ready. Under island and over cabinet lighting adds the necessary wow factor and accentuates the ornate styling of the wardrobe doors.
All in all a great project, little wonder the client absolutely loves the end result! It’s practical and perfect in every way!
