The island simply took up too much space at the centre of the room, the room generally looked dated, and the gas stove just wasn’t state of the art anymore. They needed a change.
They knew they wanted a local company to do the work, so they popped along to Court Homemakers in Northallerton, and they never looked back. It was Adam who managed the project from start to faultless finish. The brief he worked to was get rid of the things the Dickinsons didn’t like, the gas stove and the island, but keep the flooring.
“We only needed to tweak Adam’s design a little and we chose the lead colour, with a little help from my daughter.”
The cream colour chosen complemented the flooring and made the space look even bigger once the island and the gas stove were moved out. The flooring needed to be patched up because of existing end panels but the result was perfect. Said Mrs Dickinson “I would definitely recommend Court Homemakers, there were no faults and no surprises. Every question we had was answered and the whole job worked smoothly and to plan, exactly as we wanted! And now, I love it all! Especially the space created and my new oven/hub.”
